Born in India, SWAMI SUDDHANANDAJI, became curious to understand the very life itself while studying for his Masters in English Literature.
Swami Suddhananda received instruction in Vedanta from Swami Chinmayananda and Swami Dayanananda in Sandeepani Sadhanalaya, Mumbai. Referring to his studies, Swamiji says," the Scriptures were great as even the teachers.
I was thirsty and went for a drop of water and found that I am the water ". After completing two and half years' of Vedanta training, Swamiji began teaching regular classes on the Gita and the Upanishads at Chinmaya Foundation, Madras.
